About Me

I’m a kind of a ‘Ask Me, But Don’t Ask about me’ type. And I’ve always loved the idea of not being who people expect me to be.

though this sums me up, i would like to go little further here

As per official records and reports, the scientific name of the person you see to your left side is identified as AKHIL RAJARATHINAM. Hailing from the capital city of God’s own country, Kerala the guy is a Mechanical Engineering graduate. However, there are no records available to prove that he has done anything related to Mechanical Engineering. Probably, he won’t want to lead a mechanical life.

My passion for writing and photography lead me to the media world. I was lucky enough to work with few reputed online media as a photographer and feature writer (Secret Tip: Engineering Graduation + passion can sometimes bypass a journalism degree )

However, with my half-cooked journalism, I was able to cover many reputed events like the 35th National Games, International Film Festivals, and many more. I also got the opportunity to write features for much-reputed print media (newspapers like Deccan Chronicle, Asian Age, and Malayala Manorama). I was also lucky enough to be part of many photo exhibitions conducted by many reputed organizations.

My passion for traveling and photography combined with financial constraints made me explore more about budget travel. I undertook a 20-day journey exploring the length and breadth of the country, with a minimal expense of 4600 rupees (Yes. You heard it right). Read this article to know how it worked for me. (Secret Tip: Might work for you too). The articles were published in Deccan Chronicle, Asian Age, and many online media.

If you’re twenty-plus, physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, i urge you to travel – as far and as widely as possible. sleep on floors if you have to. find out how other people live and eat and cook. learn from them – wherever you go
