With the hype revolving around the Mohanlal- Prithviraj actor-director combo, Bro Daddy was the most sought-after OTT release in Malayalam. The promos and the songs released were giving the vibes of a fun-filled comedy-drama. As an entertainer, it didn’t fail to enthrall despite having 2.5 hours plus running time. The movie is an out-and-out fun movie that traverses the beauty of family relationships.

The story is centered around John Kattadi and his family. John Kattadi (Mohanlal) is a businessman. He and his wife Annamma (Meena) have a son named Esho (Prithviraj) who works in an advertising company in Bengaluru. The narrative goes around the two families of John Kattadi and his close friend Kurian Maliekkal (Lalu Alex), his wife Elsie (Kaniha), and daughter Anna (Kalyani Priyadarshan).

‘Bro Daddy’ revolves around a minute-by-minute predictable storyline. However, the director has presented it well without straggling. With its talented cast, Bro Daddy keeps the audience engaging right from the beginning. Prithviraj and Mohanlal offer some interesting dad-son combo. In many instances, Lalu Alex has shrouded his co-stars. Deepak Dev’s music also blends with the mood of the movie. However, the film has some cliche moments and the character of Soubin Shahir seems to be miscast.

Overall, ‘Bro Daddy’ stands out as a feel-good movie that doesn’t disappoint the family audience The movie is streaming on Disney + Hotstar.
